The modus operandi of human intellect consists in the method of trial
and error. It formulates a theory, puts it into practice and takes
decades or even centuries to discover its weaknesses. Then it devises
another theory and repeats the process. It might take hundreds of years
to arrive at the right solution. The solution thus reached is then
welcome, since during the intervening centuries the requisite mental
development has already taken place. So why not seeking solutions from
more superior authority instead of drag ourselves by turning ourselves
into shreds. Human intellect is far inferior then divine guidance.

According to the Quran, it is incumbent upon this System of Governance to provide for the basic necessities of each and all members comprising it, and make suitable arrangements for the development, nourishment of their human potentialities. In this way the System of Governance that is established in the name of Allah Almighty is bound to proclaim: Bindings for Momineen -Quran chapter 6 verse 152- It is distinctly clear from this that no system of governance could discharge this responsibility unless, and until it has the various means of production under its control and the necessary resources at its disposal. It may be reiterated, and should in no case be lost sight of, that this System of Governance takes under its control means of production with a view to discharge its huge responsibility of providing necessities of life for all the members of the society. If it fails to do so, it shall have no right to touch these resources. The underlying principle for the growth and development of human personality is expressed as: an individual should work hard, earn and produce as much as possible, keep what is basically and essentially necessary for their own upkeep and hand over the rest to the System of the Governance for meeting out the necessities of others in need.

Allah Almighty (God) has assumed responsibility of providing perfection and
protection to His creations Quran chapter 6 verse 12. The purpose of
this expression indicates that whatever demand is put forth for growth,
development, and perfection by any creature, the corresponding
attribute of Allah Almighty-the Creator - fulfils that particular
demand. Under specific circumstances there will be manifestation of one
of His attributes and this is generally called Grace of the Providence
which is eternal and unchangeable. In this world all the creations of
Allah Almighty are bound to follow the natural laws set for them, and
none can violate them in any form -Quran chapter 30 verse 26 - Since
human beings have been made responsible for reward of good deeds and
punishment for bad deeds in this world and in the hereafter, men has
given an option to follow or not to follow the Divine laws -Quran
chapter 18 verse 29- but the results of this action are beyond his
control. This can be explained by few examples of our daily life such
as that when a man plants a mango sapling, it will bear mango only, if
he wants fig from mango tree, it will not be possible. In another
example, if a person takes potassium cyanide he is bound to die; he has
an option to take or not to take, but as far the result is concerned he
has no control over it. Further, if a person puts his finger into fire,
it will be burnt. Also the result will not be depend on how it was done
whether intentionally or unintentionally; the effect will be the same
for the poor and the rich, minor or major, insane or sane, black or
white, kafir or momin. This is called the Law of Mukafaat (Law of
Reward or Punishment) which is permanent and unchangeable. In all other
day-to-day activities, the effect of the Law of Mukafaat will be the
same. At the same time man has not been left without guidance, and in
this respect the Divine revelation says ; And those who strive in Our
cause we will certainly guide them to Our paths: for verily God is with
those who do right Quran chapter 29 verse 69 .The Quran has also
categorically stated that when the right path is followed, the
followers will be showered with blessings from heaven and earth, but
when these laws are violated, the blessings are withdrawn Quran chapter
7 verse 96. In the life of the above explanation, it could be seen that
Allah Almighty is not the creation of any human mind but exists as an
Absolute Reality. We have to believe in Him through understanding His
attributes, which He Himself has described in the Quran. These
attributes serve a pattern for the mankind to follow.
Many Muslims especially of influence in society think that the idea of unity of humankind is an unrealistic goal and therefore, should be abandoned. According to them, this may be a romantic or an exotic idea but it is an unattainable goal. They think that Muslims waste their time in talking about the unity of humankind when they themselves are badly divided. They catalog a long list of such divisions from Muslim history. Wars fought and continue to be fought amongst themselves and millions of Muslims killed by Muslims are given as proofs from past and present history to support their claim that Muslim unity is not possible, let alone the unity of humankind. How can then one talk about Muslim unity when their past history has been so divisive, they are quick to remind everyone. These are mostly the feelings of the secular liberal or progressive minded Muslims. This feeling gives them intellectual satisfaction and a sense of psychological security. The conservative minded Muslims are no different. In fact, they put a religious and a sacred twist to the differences among Muslims. From every religious pulpit they announce that the differences and divisions among Muslims are the blessings of Allah Almighty. Remember, the Quran does not support this chapter 3 verse 103.In fact, it warns Muslims not to create divisions chapter 30 verse 32.But religious leaders thrive and in fact exist on these differences. So, they perpetuate the existence of these differences and divisions by sanctifying them. This opens the door for any group to call itself Naji and therefore on the way to Heaven and the rest destined for hell. So,in the end, it turns out that, every group can and does claim that it is going to Heaven. In layman terms they want to have both ways: have the cake and eat it too! What can be more wonderful than this This gives individuals in each sect emotional satisfaction and a sense of self-righteousness. So, we see that Muslims in both camps secular as well as conservative feel satisfied with their respective positions – but for totally different reasons. Secular Muslims feel satisfied because of their intellectual analysis of Muslim history. Religious ones,on the other hand, feel satisfied based on clerical edicts and blind faith. Thus both groups in a way feel satisfied with the perpetual disunity of Muslims in the world.
There are many Muslims though who simply want to move with the times and leave Islam to the Mullahs. They believe in the adage: Do in Rome as the Romans do. But a vast majority of Muslims practice passive Islam that was passed on to them by their forefathers in the name of Islam and go about doing their daily businesses. They feel fed up with all the controversies created by the secular and conservative Muslims but at the same time they do not want to spend time and effort to find out the truth for themselves. They feel satisfied as they have been told by their parents that God will forgive all their sins simply because they were born in Muslim families and that the Muhammad peace be upon him will save them from hell fire no matter what. In other words, they feel satisfied by being ignorant about Islam.

A typical Muslim, however unreligious-low morals, missing prayers and fasts, even drinking (alcohol) and fornicating-is sure to abstain from consuming pig's meat. Even the mere mention of the term is distasteful to him; just imagining it gives him shivers. In fact, consuming pig's meat has become synonymous with illicit gain of wealth. But this attitude is restricted to swine. Muslims do not react with equal intensity to illicit earnings, despite God forbidding it, just as He forbade consumption of swine. A restaurant suspected of frying halal kebabs in pig's fat is very likely to be vandalized by an angry mob. But the same people think nothing of unfair, illicit means of making money. Is it not baffling? Even when some means of earning are deemed illegal by the state, people consider them just that-illegal-not illicit or forbidden (haraam). There may be some means of making money allowed by the state but deemed unfair by God. Let us have a look at the criterion of permitted (halal) and forbidden (haraam) means of earning as laid down by Allah Almighty.

Everything in this wonderful universe is, on the face of it, bound firmly by God's permanent and inviolable laws. Says the Holy Quran “Nature' Islam. Laws on Nature have never failed, nor have they ever ceased to operate. They work non-stop without let or hindrance, you will see no imperfection in God's creation, (67/3). On the same pattern there are inviolable principles and permanent values for mankind, made known to man through Revelation, which enable him, individually as well as collectively, to grow and develop in life and taste all the good it can afford here and in the hereafter. Unlike things in nature, however, which must observe God's laws, man is free to adopt or reject them and to follow whatever his desires might dictate. But whereas observance of God's laws assures a rich and fruitful life, adoption of manmade laws offers no such guarantee and might, on the other hand, lead life to decay and destruction. Adopting the life prescribed by Quran is Islam. Anything else outside of Quran is not Islam.
There was a time when Muslims were the masters of the earth, controller of the destiny but today they are on a path of continuous decline. Their Condition is horrible, they face miserable poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, disease and sickness. There is a feeling of helplessness, hopelessness and frustration among the Muslims. They are just living, for the sake of living without any sense of direction. Neither the rulers nor the intellectuals of this nation have any plan for this huge mass of suffering humanity. It is really painful to see them suffer despite the best lands, resources and vast number. It is very important for those who are concerned about the future of the muslim unity to ponder about as to what is the cause of Muslim decline? What if anything can be done to end this misery?

In dictatorship, whosoever gets the power, does not want
to give it up and likes to pass it on to his descendants.
The end result of this phenomenon is struggle for power
among the successors, and fragmentation of the elite
group. This fragmentation does not stop at the upper-level
but trickles down to the commoners, who start supporting
one leader against the other. In this way the united power
of the people, required for the defense of the country,
gets misdirected against each other.
