Idealism is the oldest system of philosophy known to man. Its origins go back to ancient India in the East, and to Plato in the West. Its basic viewpoint stresses the human spirit as the most important element in life. The universe is viewed as essentially nonmaterial in its ultimate nature. Although Idealist philosophers vary enormously on many specifics, they agree on the following two points:

The word Arab means clear; clear as in logical rather than as in pure. Bedouin elders still use this term with the same meaning; those whose speech they understand they call Arab, and those whose speech is of unknown meaning to them, they call Ajam or Ajami. In the Persian Gulf  region, the term Ajam is often used to refer to the Persians.

Mecca or Makkah (in full: Makkah al-Mukkaramah; Arabic) is a city in the Hijaz  region of western Saudi Arabia . It is revered as the holiest site of the Islamic religion, and a pilgrimage to it is required of all Muslims. The Hajj or Haj is the Pilgrimage to Mecca and is the fifth of the "Five Pillars of Islam". Any Muslim who can afford to do so is grateful to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime. A Muslim is a believer in or follower of Islam. The word Muslim means one who submits and implies complete submission to the will of God (Allah Almighty). Muslims believe that nature is itself Islamic, since it follows natural laws placed by Allah Almighty. Thus, a Muslim strives to submit to God's instructions every step of the way. The holiest book for Muslims is the Quran, or the 'Koran' in English. Muslims believe the Arabic Quran as the direct revelation of Allah Almighty; translations do exist to other languages but are not regarded as the literal word of God. For Muslims, a pilgrimage to Mecca is required as one of the Five Pillars of the faith.

Muslim Woman: Discuss Men Innerself

Tags:

The study examines the viability of human intellect through which the man has made many an awe inspiring success and concludes that the inherent weakness underlying his ideals or his way of life has undermined his constructive genius and has brought a disastrous end to his efforts. The main reason attributed to his phenomenon is that the human intellect helps little because it is not aware of any source of knowledge other than itself. The man has been endeavoring to understand the nature of human self and to devise strategies for the development of human personality but has encountered numerous enigmas, threats and challenges. The Quran's concept of NAFS (Self) has been identified as human self. This not only solves the human riddle but also regulates it as a motive valence for learning with;

Muslim Woman: Why Do We Pray

Tags:
@ 10:01 AM (26 months, 7 days ago)

A simple, conventional answer may be that we pray because our  forefathers have been praying and told us to pray, just as we tell our children to pray. Or that we pray because God has asked us to pray. But for many people who are sincerely searching for a more meaningful answer, this may not be satisfactory. First of all, God has given us freedom of choice for everything, including prayer. So we do not have to pray if we do not want to. In fact, in good times, most of us don't. Only when some personal tragedy strikes or when we reach old age that many of us start praying regularly. For example, consider a plane full of people about to crash. In this helpless situation, every one will be praying for life and survival. If the situation seems completely hopeless, and they realize that they are going to loose their lives, people will be praying for God's mercy, forgiveness, His pleasure, and personal salvation in the hereafter. But nevertheless, everyone will be trying his/her best to survive until the very end. This instinct of self-survival is inherent in every living being, including humans. Other beings have defense mechanisms given by God for their survival.

Muslim Woman discuss Waiting for Savior

It is indeed a matter of great concern along with a millions of other concern that some one is coming and will give us a refuge and then take us to glory.A concerned seeker of truth asks: the Shias are expecting Imam Mahdi to come, and so do the Sunnis. My question is: Will Imam Mahdi be a Sunni or a Shia ?Actually, this story beings from a considerable period of time before the Sunnis/Shias also voted themselves to waiting in the queue comprising followers of the different faiths-keenly excepting someone who is coming.Adherents of  the various religions of the world are all awaiting the arrival of  The One Who is Coming. It is their unshakable belief that the Expected  One will come during the last days of the world just before Qiyaamat or resurrection, and he will overcome destroy all the other faiths, and make his own religion the hold sway over all the others. Thus:

Muslim Woman - Fate or Destiny

Tags:
@ 08:56 AM (26 months, 14 days ago)

Are events physical as well as social or predictable? Is everything that happens in this world pre-determined? Did God, at the dawn of Creation, decide what was going to happen in the human social world? Has He a definitely irrevocable plan for each and every individual? Is our destiny pre decided? Can we change our destiny? Are we inescapably bound to our fate? Can we know what lies in store for us? How does prior knowledge of our destiny affect us? Questions such as these have nagged Man ever since he began conscious logical thinking. It is my intention in this paper to try to tackle these questions in the light of the Quran.

Muslim Woman - Mankind & Change

Tags:
@ 07:19 AM (26 months, 17 days ago)

The only constant in modern life is change. Our expectation that whatever we possess is doomed to obsolescence has become relentless. And yet invention still comes as a constant surprise. Innovation most often occurs when ideas or things are brought in a way that never happened before the result is greater than the sum of the parts. So what to do! Doubt what is not self-evident and reduce every problem to its simplest components. It is these twin tools of methodical doubt and reductionism that leads to innovation and invention. Then what happens, Look Reductionism encouraged the fragmentation of knowledge under the rubric Learn more and more about less and less. And as the drive to subdivide the natural world into smaller and smaller bits brought the development of the kind of tools needed for the enterprise of invention, disciplines split into sub disciplines and sub-sub disciplines. Its examples are microscopes, telescopes, thermometers, dividing engines and all the other instrumentations for measuring the new data. As a result, isolated in their intellectual silos, scientists and their technological sidekicks literally reduced human knowledge to myriad, mutually incomprehensible pinpoints of niche expertise. No matter how esoteric a matter might be today, somebody, somewhere has spent years getting a PhD in it.

Muslim Woman: Islamic Society

Tags:
@ 10:57 AM (26 months, 20 days ago)

Islam seeks to establish a society in which everyone can walk freely and have complete physical, mental and spiritual freedom. The only restrictions would be those placed by the Divine Laws. If human beings earnestly make the effort to endorse, practice and propagate the rights, guidance, wisdom and values bestowed upon them then society would continue to evolve and benefit from the boundless munificence which Almighty Allah has placed at our disposal. Let us then rededicate ourselves to reading about, understanding and practicing with more earnestness, the call for a fair and peaceful society which the Holy Quran guides us towards. The creation of a blissful and universal united nation may then become that much easier.

There was a time when Muslims were the masters of the earth, controller of the destiny, but today they are on a path of continuous decline.Their Condition is horrible, they face miserable poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, disease and sickness. There is a feeling of helplessness, hopelessness, and frustration among the Muslims. They are just living, for the sake of living ,without any sense of direction.Neither the rulers, nor the intellectuals of this nation, have any plan, for this huge mass of suffering humanity. It is really painful to see them suffer, despite the best lands, resources, and vast number. It is very important for those, who are concerned about the future of the Ummah, to ponder about as to what is the cause of Muslim decline? What if anything can be done to end this misery.

Pilgrimage in Islam traditionally recognize as Hajj, which
had been discussed in Quran with detail. What is its
importance, background and reason perform is almost
manipulated during centuries. Here a short synopsis of this
pilgrimage known as Hajj in the light of Quran. The word
Hajj is from Hujjat, which means to discuss and find the
solution to the problems. At this annual event, must
discuss the problems and find the solutions for the
problems facing the Ummah. Annual program must be spelled
out in front of the Ummah and in the subsequent year the
goals achieved throughout the year should be presented at
the next Hajj. This is the place where unified policy of
the Muslim world must be charted out. It should become
United Nations of Islam. This should be in addition to
present rituals of Hajj.
