Muslim Woman status does the Quran endows for women. The details are lengthy but their gist is that Islam / Quran calls both man and woman, Zauj (counter part) to each other which means companions.

The word Hajj is from Hujjat, which means to discuss and find the solution to the problems. At this annual event, must discuss the problems and find the solutions for the problems facing the Ummah. Annual program must be spelled out in front of the Ummah and in the subsequent year the goals achieved throughout the year should be presented at the next Hajj. This is the place where unified policy of the Muslims must be charted out. It should become United Nations of Islam. This should be in addition to present rituals of Hajj.

Muslim Woman - Prayers

Tags:
@ 12:29 AM (22 months, 2 days ago)

Praying five times a day is only one part of Salaat. When we finish our prayers in the Masjid, we are not done with Salaat. It is not something to do and finish. It involves every aspect of life, keeping it within the guidelines of the Divine Code twenty four hours a day. And this has to be done within a system under a central authority according to the Quran. This system was originally established by Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him and the Sahaba. Five times a day our prayers are meant to renew and reinforce our commitment to steadfastly enforce the system of Salaat ordered by
Allah Almighty and practically shown to the humankind by the Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him. This renewal boosts our psychological energy to come together and support each other towards the goals of the Quran. Salaat is the mechanism by which the Quran is implemented in mankind. This is how Allah's laws can be engrained within us; this is how the Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him and the Sahaba found it so natural to follow the Quran, and the results they produced within 30 years speak for themselves. Needless to say, our prayers are not producing the same results although we have been praying for more than a thousand years in ever increasing numbers.

Muslim Woman: Discuss - Importance of Islamic History

Tags:
@ 07:08 AM (22 months, 4 days ago)

In spite of volumes of literature on the subject, a vast majority of Muslims young and old are ignorant of Islamic history. Yet, the importance of the knowledge of history cannot be overemphasized. According to Allama Iqbal, history is like long term memory where the voices of nations are preserved. So a people without knowledge of history are a people without memory. And people who cannot remember, obviously, cannot benefit from the lessons of history.

Muslim Woman: Human Intellect Works

Tags:
@ 05:26 AM (22 months, 10 days ago)

The modus operandi of human intellect consists in the method of trial
and error. It formulates a theory, puts it into practice and takes
decades or even centuries to discover its weaknesses. Then it devises
another theory and repeats the process. It might take hundreds of
years to arrive at the right solution. The solution thus reached is
then welcome, since during the intervening centuries the requisite
mental development has already taken place.

Muslim Woman - Ineffective Prayers

Tags:
@ 09:28 PM (22 months, 12 days ago)
To every open minded person studying the Quran, to every person whose eyes search for those truths which God has unveiled in his book of clear guidance. The Quran, with eternal guidance and unchanging laws, governs the stagnation and destruction or prosperity and success of nations. I believe that the Quran is not only directed towards Muslims, but towards all of humanity. It is the sole solution for its personal and societal problems as well as the ultimate cure for the its pain and difficulties. This belief of mine is not built upon blissful ignorance, rather this belief springs from deep reflection and understanding of the situation based upon reason. It satisfies my search for peace and perfect balance in my heart and mind; a baseless superstition or blind belief cannot not be mistaken for such an internal peace. Always ask a question which strikes a vital reality. Today a very large number of Muslims are praying, fasting, giving zakat, completing hajj, yet they are not receiving the same benefits and successes as did the Muslims in the time of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, a time in which Muslims did these very same actions. So if this is a reality then how can we revive our prayers and other cardinal practice in its original format ?

Muslim Woman - why Quran given to us

Tags:
@ 12:07 AM (22 months, 14 days ago)
Let us ask why was the Quran sent to humanity? Allah Almighty says
that the Quran was sent to Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him, to
lead humanity out of darkness and into light. A Book which we have
revealed unto you in order that you might lead mankind out of darkness
into light, chapter- 14 verse 1

Various examples can be given to explain this verse. Liberating people
out of slavery into freedom is an example of leading them from
darkness into light chapter- 14 verse 5. Messenger Moses peace be upon
him liberation of Israelites from slavery in Egypt to freedom, and
Messenger Muhammad's peace be upon him migration to establish an
independent Muslim community and state in Medina are historical
examples of leading mankind from darkness into light. Removing
ignorance, superstition and blind beliefs with knowledge, reason and
understanding is another example. Allah Almighty also says that the
Quran was sent to remove conflict and differences among human beings.

And We sent down the Book to you Muhammad for express purpose, that
you should clear to them those things in which they differ, chapter 16
verse 64. So, the Quran removes differences and conflicts which divide
human beings and eventually creates unity of mankind. The image of
today's muslims has nothing to do with Quranic crieteria of Islam and
muslim.

Muslim Woman: Discuss Emergent Evolution & Islamic Revolution

Tags:
@ 11:10 PM (22 months, 16 days ago)

What is the good of sudden revolutionary changes? What does mankind gain by accelerating the working of eternal laws for a time and securing their extraordinary results if after a while human mind and those results are to revert to their old level? In a concrete form the question might be, what contribution did early Islam make to the betterment of mankind?  The answer is “immense” Firstly, Islam gave the world God’s eternal laws in the form of a book (Quran) so that who so wishes might give them practical shape and obtain their happy results. Secondly, Islam showed the world that the laws are workable, that they are not mere utopia but a practicable code of life which was given a trial in a particular period of history and produced positive results. Emergent evaluations help mankind go ahead. As already explained human intellect works by experimentation. 1t evolves a plan, executes it and then finds after centuries that the plan was defective and hence a failure. Then it begins experimenting with some other plan. If, however, it can have the benefit of seeing the results achieved by a revolution, the precedent will help it assess much better the results of its own planning. A comparative study of pre and post Islamic history will show at once that the progress man has made during post Islamic period is unparalleled. The progress would appear much more marked had the history of early Islam been available in its unalloyed form. A revolution gives the ever-moving vehicle of time a push which accelerates its speed and enables it to cover a lot of distance with the momentum gained. It was the momentum generated by the short lived Islamic Social Order, which helped Muslims maintain for centuries their leadership of the world in science and art. Western thinkers and historians admit the truth of the statement. In his book The Making of Humanity, Briffault has devoted a whole chapter to the theme under the caption Dar Al-Hikmat and says,

Muslim Woman - Importance Of Character

Tags:
@ 03:09 AM (22 months, 22 days ago)

Preservation of life is an animal instinct; not so is the preservation
of honour. The concept of honour is unknown to the animal world. In
fact it forms the line of demarcation between the Animal and the Man.
Honour is a specific human value. Preservation of human values
elevates the level of life, from the animal to the human. Character
may, therefore, be defined as who so preserves human values against
animal instincts is a man of character.Islam's main objective is to develop
the character of every human being. The divine pattern to develop a character
has mentioned in Quran. Quran tell us that there are more higher values then
biological means. Character develops by looking after these higher values.

Muslim Woman - Islamic concept of Socio Economic Exploitation

Tags:

Is poverty an essential part of system of life? Is there not a permanent solution to the pathetic cries of the poor people in the streets? Should the poverty not be erased from the surface of the earth like a wrongly written word? He dived into Quran with these burning questions and learned that the cause of all the miseries and hardships of life, is the exploitation of man by man, under the wrong system, and solution is not to throw few bread crumbs in the begging bowl of the poor, but the solution is to replace the wrong system with the fair and just socioeconomic and political system of Islam.
