The only constant in modern life is change. Our expectation that whatever we possess is doomed to obsolescence has become relentless. And yet invention still comes as a constant surprise. Innovation most often occurs when ideas or things are brought in a way that never happened before the result is greater than the sum of the parts. So what to do! Doubt what is not self-evident and reduce every problem to its simplest components. It is these twin tools of methodical doubt and reductionism that leads to innovation and invention. Then what happens, Look Reductionism encouraged the fragmentation of knowledge under the rubric Learn more and more about less and less. And as the drive to subdivide the natural world into smaller and smaller bits brought the development of the kind of tools needed for the enterprise of invention, disciplines split into sub disciplines and sub-sub disciplines. Its examples are microscopes, telescopes, thermometers, dividing engines and all the other instrumentations for measuring the new data. As a result, isolated in their intellectual silos, scientists and their technological sidekicks literally reduced human knowledge to myriad, mutually incomprehensible pinpoints of niche expertise. No matter how esoteric a matter might be today, somebody, somewhere has spent years getting a PhD in it.

Islam (Deen) , along with these basic concepts, provides the practical system through which these theoretical values take the form of reality and then the man within their concrete results sees of his own, how gainful or harmful it is to act or not according to these values. Being affected by this, his emotions and feelings follow the proper channel for their own operation and since emotions are the impetus of actions his life synchronizes with these higher values. This is called the exaltation of character and neatness of conduct.

Mecca or Makkah (in full: Makkah al-Mukkaramah; Arabic) is a city in the Hijaz  region of western Saudi Arabia . It is revered as the holiest site of the Islamic religion, and a pilgrimage to it is required of all Muslims. The Hajj or Haj is the Pilgrimage to Mecca and is the fifth of the "Five Pillars of Islam". Any Muslim who can afford to do so is grateful to make the pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a lifetime. A Muslim is a believer in or follower of Islam. The word Muslim means one who submits and implies complete submission to the will of God (Allah Almighty). Muslims believe that nature is itself Islamic, since it follows natural laws placed by Allah Almighty. Thus, a Muslim strives to submit to God's instructions every step of the way. The holiest book for Muslims is the Quran, or the 'Koran' in English. Muslims believe the Arabic Quran as the direct revelation of Allah Almighty; translations do exist to other languages but are not regarded as the literal word of God. For Muslims, a pilgrimage to Mecca is required as one of the Five Pillars of the faith.

Every year about three million gather for the major pilgrimage, or Hajj .The Hajj or Haj is the Pilgrimage to Mecca and is the fifth of the "Five Pillars of Islam. The focal point of Mecca is the Kaaba, the "House of God" believed by Muslims to have been built by Abraham peace be upon him and his son Ishmael peace be upon him, and which is covered in a gold-embroidered black fabric. Praying five times a day is only one part of Salaat. When we finish our prayers in the Masjid, we are not done with Salaat. It is not something to do and finish. It involves every aspect of life, keeping it within the guidelines of the Divine Code twenty-four hours a day. And this has to be done within a system under a central authority according to the Quran. This system was originally established by Messenger Muhammad peace be upon him and the Sahaba.

There was a time when Muslims were the masters of the earth, controller of the destiny, but today they are on a path of continuous decline.Their Condition is horrible, they face miserable poverty, illiteracy, malnutrition, disease and sickness. There is a feeling of helplessness, hopelessness, and frustration among the Muslims. They are just living, for the sake of living ,without any sense of direction.Neither the rulers, nor the intellectuals of this nation, have any plan, for this huge mass of suffering humanity. It is really painful to see them suffer, despite the best lands, resources, and vast number. It is very important for those, who are concerned about the future of the Ummah, to ponder about as to what is the cause of Muslim decline? What if anything can be done to end this misery.

Muslim Woman: Islam Role & Significance of Justice

Tags:
@ 11:17 AM (18 months, 19 days ago)

To establish the rule of justice is a basic responsibility of an Islamic State. The demand for justice prevails in all walks of life, but here we shall talk only about the judicial justice (that which pertains to the domain of law). The Quran also provides the required guidance for justice-dispensing agencies i.e. the courts of law. It is necessary to understand one basic principle about JUSTICE. According to the common concept of justice in the world, the duty of a law-court is to decide the disputed affairs according to the code of law that is prevalent; therefore a decision made accordingly shall be considered as based on justice. But, if the law itself is not based on justice, then the decision based on it can never be considered just. Thus the principle laid down by the Quran is that the law of the land should also be based on justice. In this respect the Quran does not indulge in a philosophical debate as to what is meant by "law on the basis of justice" and what is the definition of justice. It addresses the Islamic sovereign state decisively as follows: (5:44) "If any do fail to judge by what Allah Almighty has revealed, they are Kafireen."

It means that where the rule is based on Quranic Laws, it shall be an Islamic government and if it is not based on Quranic Law, it shall be a government of non-believers. Only that law shall be considered as based on truth which conforms to the Book of Allah; any law contrary to it shall be based on 'zulm' (injustice). Thus the judges are addressed as follows: (7:158) "They guide people towards the Truth (the Quran), and dispense justice in accordance with what it dictates."
