Muslim Woman

Muslim Woman status does the Quran endows for women. The details are lengthy but their gist is that Islam / Quran calls both man and woman, Zauj (counter part) to each other which means companions.

About Allah Almighty (God)

A finite thing cannot grasp an infinite object. However we know Supreme Being through his attributes given in the Quran. Accordingly belief in Allah Almighty means to accept the sovereignty of One Whose attributes are described in the Quran. The concept of a supreme authority exists amongst people all over the world even amongst the most primitive tribes; and all of them bow down to it, although the picture of that authority is different in the minds of people belonging to different tribes and different religions, Yahawa of Jews, Father of Christians, Ishwar or Paremeshwar of Hindus and Yazdan of Zoroastrians, all bear a different concept. On the other hand, Allah Almighty described in the Quran is different from all of them.

It appears that the Messengers (Rasools) who appeared on the earth from time to time for the guidance of mankind introduced the same concept of the Supreme Authority as given in the Quran but that it was gradually adulterated by man-made ideas and baser human sentiments and ultimately made to disappear. Thus the self oriented concept of God in one religion becomes different from that of the other. Thus the real concept of Allah Almighty is the one that arises out of the manifestation of the attributes of Allah Almighty as laid down in the Quran. Since the concept of God amongst the non Muslims is of their own making their belief in God is not the same as prescribed by the Quran.

  1. Good morning,

You say, “A finite thing cannot grasp an infinite object.” But you haven’t thought this through very well.

First, speaking of Mathematics, anyone with a normal IQ can understand geometry and in the basis of X and Y coordinates you can have an infinite number of points on a graph. So, if you are considering a human finite, then the finite human can comprehend the X and Y coordinates in geometry.

Second, concerning theory, let’s say you have two books. Each book contains a narrative. Both narratives are detailed in their description of the events that happen in a time period. Now one book is 1000 pages and another book is 200 pages, in theory which book has more detail? Of course the answer is the book with 1000 pages. I suggest the Holy Bible has more detail than the Qur’an. Furthermore, the Qur’an and Holy Bible disagree on many points. Therefore if you believe in absolutes, then one book must be true while the other one is false.

Third, the Christian Holy Bible has approximately 1000 pages written over a long period of time by various authors inspired by God Almighty. The Qur’an is approximately 200 pages written by Mohammed or as the Muslim’s say given to Mohammed by an angel.

Forth, if a book written by 60+ people over a length of time is coherent to many and the story of the Old and New Testament is true, then wouldn’t it be easier to believe 60 plus people who had divine inspiration than it is to believe 1 man who said God gave him the scriptures. For instance, in an investigation if the outcome is that someone’s house burned and 60 people said person A did the arson while 1 person said person B did the arson, wouldn’t it be feasible to believe 60 people over the 1. Unless, by the rare case, that all 60 people conspired to deceive everyone while the lone man was the only honest one. But that cannot be true in the case of the Bible because we know that the writers of the Bible lived and died in various centuries and couldn’t have conspired to write the Bible the way they did. Furthermore, ancient texts have been retrieved that match the Bible while there are no ancient texts that confirm the consistency of the Qur’an. For all I know the Qur’an could have been made up by Mohammed, penned by him, and given to the simple minded people that cannot understand the concept of a trinity. For you write “A finite thing cannot grasp an infinite object.” If God is infinite cannot the Holy Bible be true since there is more detail about God in the Holy Bible? And Muslim’s balk at the fact they cannot comprehend the entirely of God? How odd it is for you to make a statement like you have, but nonetheless you DO think you know more about God than you realize. Because you know that God cannot be a trinity. Or you’ve been taught that God cannot be a trinity. But you’ve also been taught that God is infinite. Do Christians claim to totally understand the tri-unity of God? No. But in a basic sense yes, they say that God can be and do as he pleases within the confines of the scripture, The Holy Bible. Going outside the Bible means you are making up what you want God to be therefore you could be making the Bible mean nonsense. Which is the way of Muslims.

Do you believe in the universe? Well, you better stop believing in the universe, because a similar type of logic is placed in the word universe as the word trinity. The original words were unity and diverse. Splicing the words together you get the universe. As you can tell the word prefix meant a single entity (uni-one) that was suffixed with diverse (many). Even the earth is a single entity with a variety or many life forms as well as other entities inside it. Even you as a human are one but many at the same time! If you are truly religious you will understand that your body is not your soul. So you are two entities, body and soul. You are a binity (bi-two in unity-one).

I have seen many Muslim's try to approach the trinity with a simple mathematical formula making a complete mess of the trinity. Some Muslim's will say 1+1+1=1. But Christians don't say that there is 1God+1God+1God=1God. A similar dumb statement would be to say there is 1 Earth but there are many Earths since the entities within the Earth are part of the Earth. 1Person+1Person+6BillionPersons = 1Earth. You have yourself in a tragic problem if you think in those terms. There is 1 God who is diverse capable of being and doing as he pleases. God can be omnipresent, meaning anywhere at anytime at the same time. And on top of that God can be a distinct entity in one location of the Earth and another distinct entity on the opposite side of the Earth. Does it make God multiple gods if He were to appear in the United States and Saudi Arabia at the same time? Not necessarily! Especially if you believe there is One God. If you say, yes having God in two places in the Earth means there are two Gods, then you are deceiving yourself.

Finally, Muslim’s will say that God cannot be a trinity and at the same time you will say that finite objects cannot grasp the infinite. You are defeating yourself by saying this. You are illogical and you should realize the problems you have within your own mind. If any of this makes sense to you then you need to rethink your philosophical position and perhaps understand “do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment.”

    Have a nice day,

    Jean, OC
