Muslim Woman status does the Quran endows for women. The details are lengthy but their gist is that Islam / Quran calls both man and woman, Zauj (counter part) to each other which means companions.

Tags:

Fasting in Islam is a means to becoming Muttaqi (the one who is not only righteous but completely following the laws of Quran). Yes fasting has health and spiritual benefits but we must never lose sight of the main goal of fasting. Month of Ramadan in Islam provides an environment for our collective training and development of character. The Ramadan fasting allow Muslims to test their integrity, tolerance & character. Since character building is a continuous process & Ramadan is repeated every year as a reminder and re enforcer. We must judge our accomplishments by the standards laid down by the Quran. We should not be under the false impression that our spiritual development is taking place while our life goes on as usual. We have to keep the life and efforts of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his disciples before us to know whether or not we are among the Muttaqoon (the one who is abiding the laws of Allah Almighty).

Muslim Woman - Truth

Tags:

Enigma ensnares the human all his life and they convincingly believe that they are born free! Although they is not! They are born chained in customs, traditions, rituals, and the family traits. They go to the place of worship because as a child they saw their parents go to the place of worship. They despise others because as a child saw their parents despise others. They assume themselves to be the most cultured, enlightened, and brave among the men because they thought and behaved like that. The Man remains confounded in the given circumstances. They evolves their ethics and code of conduct to judge the world. The Man nevertheless is born with an inquisitive head and heart. Within they resides a self. They strive to know what hitherto has remained unknown to them. They attempts to understand what has not understood before. They read, assimilate, contemplate & unshackle themselves. They tread the oceans, deserts, forests, and the civilizations in search of a Truth. They stand up and musters up courage to look at the world independently. They all listen to the echo of eternal unanswered questions from within. Who am I? Who has created me? What is the relationship between my Creator and me? The Man seeks answer to the most complex questions in their lives. Where from have I come and whence shall I return to! Without knowing she enters the folds of so many snares set in the form of Sufism, Monastism, Pantheism, Atheism and the like so many.  It is then that they finds themselves impeded by the society in which they have been brought up. The wise, the clergy, the religionists, and the learned that sit in judgment on the deeds and misdeeds of others admonish them. They warn them not to seek what has already been sought! Not to redefine what has already been defined! And finally, not to deviate from the path followed by their forefathers! Fear bears no meaning for their mentors. So they look around and to their astonishment they behold their Beloved, the Eternal love when they attain dissolution in the vastness on One Supreme in every direction! and is lost in the instinctive urges, tendencies and capacities which constitute the biological equipment of their fiber in the hormones secreted by endocrine glands, in the social milieu in which they reared up, in the moral code where receives through the emotional part of their nature, in the social forces where they remains passive when society moulds them to enjoy social approval, in the interaction between hereditary constitution and their social surrounding and so the like so many others. Quran has discussed about this subject openly & answered these core questions.

Muslim Woman - Distinctive feature of the Islamic state

Tags:
@ 12:45 AM (9 months, 2 days ago)

There is a special feature of the Islamic state which must not be overlooked. There, obedience is due to God and God alone, which takes practical shape in the observance of the Quranic principles and commands. In Islam, obedience is due neither to a king, nor to a parliament, nor to any other organization. It is the Quranic provisions which determine the limits of our freedom and restrictions in political and social spheres. In other words, the Islamic state is an agency for enforcement of the Quranic principles and injunctions.

Every Muslim knows that the injunctions of the Quran are not confined to religious and moral duties. Everyone except those who are ignorant knows that the Quran is the general code of the Muslims. A religious, social, civil, commercial, military, judicial, criminal and penal code! it regulates everything from the ceremonies of religion to those of daily life; from the salvation of the soul to the health of the body; from the rights of all to those of each individual, from morality to crime; from punishment here to that in the life to come, our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has enjoined on us that every Muslim should possess a copy of the Holy Quran and be his own priest. Therefore, Islam is not confined to the spiritual tenets and doctrines and rituals and ceremonies. It is a complete code regulating the whole Muslim society in every department of life, collectively and individually.

Muslim Woman - Concept of Life

Tags:
@ 10:56 PM (9 months, 12 days ago)

How does the concept of life (right or wrong) change the perspective of human vision and define the direction of his activities, we need not to go anywhere far to understand it. Every one complains today that falsehood; deception, cunningness, betrayal, corruption, bribery, injustice, oppression, extortion and exploitation are prevailing in the world. It looks as if, without any exception of zones or inhabitants, the germs of these diseases have spread all over the globe like an epidemic. Did you ever ponder over the cause thereof? Ills were also there in the days gone by, but these were not so general and comprehensive. With a little pondering, this reality will be established that its basic cause is the concept of life which, in the 19th century, emerged in the West and due to the general and global means of communication spread to ever nook and corner of the world. All these ills/miseries are the product of this concept. This concept of life was that the human life is only the physical life and laws governing the life and the death at the animal level apply to man also. Survival of the fittest is the immutable law of nature. According to this law, only the one wielding the maximal scepter of authority and power has the right to live. How this authority and power acquired was is no question. The poor and the weak and the powerless can be allowed to live only to become victual of the powerful. Every big fish devours the smaller one. Insects are born to be the food of the sparrows and the sparrows consequently breathe only to be the prey of the eagles. This is the law of nature, the constitution of life. It is according to this law that the decisions on the life and death of individuals as well as Nations are made. “Might is right” is the exigency of justice. Lion is the king of jungle, not the goat. If the lion eats the goat, the goat cannot make complain that it is the victim of oppression.

Muslim Woman -Life, A continous Journey

Tags:
@ 08:03 AM (9 months, 16 days ago)

According to the Quran, life is a continuous process and has to go a long way. If life is led according to the laws given by its Creator Allah Almighty (God) then its latent potentialities are developed and enable life to continue progressing, and going from one stage to another. But if the potentialities of this life remain undeveloped then it doesn't have the strength to travel or grow further and stops at one stage or point. This process of stoppage is called al-jaheem (Living in a Hell) in the Quranic terminology. Life is like an ever flowing stream, the moment it stops it turns into a pond then gets stagnant. Out of dust rose Adam and out of good deeds would rise the man for the world hereafter.

Muslim Woman - Human Personality and Social Influence

Tags:
@ 12:30 AM (9 months, 19 days ago)

According to psychologists view, personality develops as the result of the reactions of the individual itself. The important thing for personality isn't the social influence to which the individual is exposed but the way, the process in which he reacts to it. Men therefore don?t passively receive but actively acquires personality. The biological factor operating in man is of crucial importance for personality development. However, it will not act to disregard the social factor altogether. Man has to accommodate himself to the demands of the group (family) on which he is dependent and which provides him with security and necessities of life.
