Muslim Woman: Islamic System Known As Deen

Tags:

Basic misconception in this regard is that Deen (islamic system) is thought to be no more than an ethical code. Deen is not the collection of a few moral values, it is a comprehensive system of life covering all aspects of human life. The moral values become operative within this system, or in other words this system provides that sound base on which the edifice of these moral values is established. Have you ever ponder over this phenomenon that the whole world says that telling a lie is bad; dishonesty is intensely opprobrious and deception is very contemptible misdemeanor but in spite of all this the whole world tell lies, corruption is rampant every where and cheating is in full swing. The question is why is this all happening? In spite of condemning and cursing all these things why has man taken to them? Considering these acts the most detestable and hateful but why men is not refraining from them? Its reason is that either the people acknowledge these moral values just as of formality or they have their foundation on emotions alone. They know nothing as to why these values should be followed and why should they not be violated. You ask a person why you should not tell a lie, you would realize that he has no reasonable reply to this question. With all the reason and rhyme at his command, he would not be able to respond to the why of your question.  He will not be able to explain to you rationally what would you loose by telling lies and which gain you would accrue by speaking the truth. And since man adopts only that which gives him gain and abandons that which causes him loss, therefore his acquiescence to this effect is either simply traditional or imitation or the product of emotional inclinations. He neither develops insight of these values  nor rationally makes them the way of his life. Deen (True Islamic System) provides those basic concepts, which conspicuously bring forth the purpose and ultimate aim of human life. The purpose of life defines the proper value of every thing and when these values are identified it can very easily be understood which one is profit bearing and which one is loss accruing; which one is higher and which one is lower on the continuum of values.

Muslim Woman - Islam Orders Defence of Weak

Islam also allows fighting for the help of the oppressed. “And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)? Men, women and children whose cry is: ‘Our Lord’! Rescue us from this town where people are oppressors and raise for us from thee one who will help.” (4:75). Evil consorts evil The good have all the more reason for drawing together by not only living in mutual harmony, but also by being ready at all times to protect each other. Otherwise, the world would be given over to aggression by unscrupulous people and the good will fail in their duty to establish peace and strengthen the forces of truth and righteousness (8:73). To help the oppressed, wherever they are and whatever is their race, colour, language and faith is the duty of the Muslims enjoined by Allah. Allah’s plan is universal, He provides protection to all his creature. To protect one He may have to check another. “And did not Allah check one set of people by means of another, the world would indeed be full of mischief: but Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds.” (2:251). Within the Islamic State itself, use of force is allowed first against those guilty of treason against the State  and, secondly against the hypocrites who though given the privileges of association with goodness and piety, persist in wicked deeds. Muslim Woman - IMPETUS OF RELIGIOUS SECTARIANISM

Tags:
@ 12:39 AM (9 months, 24 days ago)

The cause of this sectarianism and factionalism was not the phenomenon that theywere mistaken in understanding the reality of Deen (Islam), nor is the fact that any item remained doubtful, obscurant and ambiguous to them. In true Islam doubt, suspicion, and ambiguity have nothing to do with the knowledge which Allah Almighty (God) has revealed. This sectarianism used to balk for satisfying the lust of power and authority. Those who had intense desire to emerge as leaders used to create their own individual sects. And then every sect wanted to surpass and dominate over the others. This used to start mutual conflicts leading to bickering and wrangling and thus the Ummat (Msulim Nation) used to get divided into sects and factions.Later on this has become the part of Deen (Islam) & become shrouded in the mist of chaos and distraction. Futher this has brought reality to our forefront that sects does not come into existence on the basis of any knowledge and vision, nor on any arguments and reasoning. It is based on sentiments, personal gains & governance by dividing people within one religon. It is a separate phenomenon that the followers of every sect look to be arguing in favour of their own faction. For milleniums religions are facing this situation which occured immediate after the demise of true prophets of God.

Muslim Woman: Why Pakistan

Tags:
@ 11:47 PM (10 months, 1 day ago)

Why was Pakistan created? What was its genesis and what ideology was driving the Pakistan movement? Why did a vast majority of Muslims support the idea of Pakistan and why did a majority of the Islamic scholars (Ulema) oppose it? These are the questions which have been debated ever since Pakistan came into existence. In this 50th anniversary of Pakistan, while celebrating its golden jubilee, it is equally important to look back and give some thought and reflect upon these questions. In recent years, many have even started to question the wisdom and the vision of the country’s founding leaders. (Traditionally, there have always been opponents of Pakistan trying to wreck the very house that provides them shelter and sustenance). In answering these questions, we will first explain the positions of those who opposed the idea of Pakistan, and then present the arguments which Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam put forth in its favor.

Muslim Woman: Question About Prayers

Tags:
@ 12:38 AM (10 months, 8 days ago)

A simple conventional answer may be that we pray because our forefathers have been praying and told us to pray, this is exactly as we tell our children to pray. Traditionaly we pray because God has asked us to pray. But for many people who are sincerely searching for a more meaningful answer this may not be satisfactory. First of all God has given us freedom of choice for everything including prayers, so we do not have to pray if we do not want to. Usually we donot pray when we are enjoying the good times, but majority do this when some tragedy strikes or when we reach old age that many of us start praying regularly. For example an airplane full of people is going to crash and in this situation every one will be praying for life and survival. This instinct of self-survival is inherent in every living being including humans. But humans find themselves helpless and defenseless against many living beings and natural catastrophes. Therefore prmitive human prayed to various natural objects that threatened or benefited his survival. When human beings developed tools for self-defense and gradually advanced in science they tended to drift away from religion. They found security in science rather than prayer because science gave them control over the forces of nature. Priesthood considered this attitude as an attack on religion itself. This led to a continuous battle of religion with science. History bears ample testimony to this continuous struggle. Thus we see that there seems to be no single reason as to why people pray. Everyone can come up with his or her own answer and feel satisfied. In fact this is what we normally do. But as we mentioned before, the right answer that transcends space, time circumatance and human emotions can only come from God through his book..The Quran.
