In a society where purity is demanded of women only and men are exempted, it is useless to talk about women's rights and privileges or responsibilities which are the attributes of the equality demanded by the Quran. According to the Quran the purity of body and soul which is the hallmark of humans has equally demanded from both men and women. If keeping herself chaste is the responsibility of the woman then she has the right to demand this from the men as well. Just as it is incumbent on the woman to keep herself chaste (24:31), it has also been made obligatory for men to keep themselves chaste (24:30). In fact men have been addressed first and women afterwards.

The knowledge of divine law relating to the external universe is derived from a close observation of nature, scientific experiments and discoveries, but not in the case of laws relating to human life and the regulation of its conduct which are communicated only through Revelation to the Messengers and conveyed by them as Messenger of God to mankind. All children born in this world are equal by birth on account of their being human beings. None of them is rich or poor, high caste or low caste, officer of servant. But these differences are brought into being soon after birth. Everybody shall try to take care of rich parents child but few shall try even to look at a child born in a poor house. A child born inside the room of a bungalow and the other one born in the servant quarters of the same bungalow become differentiated immediately after birth. All shall pay respect to the child of an officer but shall rebuke the child of a servant. It is no fault of any one child to take birth in a poor house and it is no virtue of any other child to take birth in a rich family. Thus it is unjust to differentiate one from the other. Similarly it is absolutely a wrong attitude to distinguish between people as one of low caste and the other of high caste.

People who like their religious personaities, are very much attached with their religion emotionally. Their approach is far away from rationality. Such persons, despite of vast study and knowledge, are not able to use their mind freely in matters related to religion. In fact, they are incapable to come out of the darkness of religion. And it is not a new phenomenon. It is happening down through the history. Even prophets had failed to talk to these people and convince them. Quran says about them: "Although they have eyes but see with the eyes of others; they have ears but listen with the ears of others: and they have mind but think with the mind of others. They blindly follow what their ancestors had followed without judging whether it is right or wrong. And, whereas their beliefs and practices do not interfere or affect their daily life, therefore, they do not bother about the consequences of what they believe or follow. They remain satisfied with the status quo and never think about a change.
