The political objective In this world as laid down by the Quran for
humanity Is Universalism, which shall be achieved by adopting a common
code of life, obtainable from the Quranic Injunctions, laws and
permanent values. Tribal instinct persisted in all forms of living
from families and tribes to the present national states. Each social
group promotes friendship between its members and hostility towards
other group in order to maintain its own interests. Thus hostility to
the outer groups is as characteristic of nations as it was of tribes.
Every nation has feelings of ill-will and hatred towards its neighbor.
Nationalism is a feeling which is born out of hatred and lives on
enmity. It does not form merely a political grouping, instead it has
developed in to a cult which arouses in the Individual passionate
devotion to his nation and violent antipathy to other nations. Aldous
Huxley says: Nationalism leads to moral ruin because it denies
universality, denies the existence of a single God, denies the value
of the human being as a human being and because at the same time It
affirms exclusiveness, encourages variety, pride and self satisfaction
but it also stimulates hatred and proclaims the necessity and
rightness of war.

Deen is the name of a system. This system meant that human beings should live together in such a manner that every individual should have an equal opportunity for to develop its full potential or self-realisation. A system in which each individual should become a means for the development of potentials of others and in this way finds way of his/her Own development of potentials. In this system, the needs of the natural life are very elementary things. A system that is responsible for the development of all natural potentials, cannot forget the natural needs of human beings.Obviously, such a great system will have many elements of various kinds. Any tiny element of the system will be unique and vital and will have a role in producing the results of the system, while the whole system will be paralysed if that tiny element failed to function, just like a loose of a screw of railway track will stop all trains.Various injunctions in the Islamic system have equal importance. When that system was established, all actions those were in accordance with the system principles played role in bringing out the results. But when the system vanished, its elements remained like a railway junkyard, with out-of-order signals and broken railway tracks. We heard about the blessings of this (like railway) system, but did not see it in practice. Now we consider the old signals and broken railway track (the elements of Shariah) a means of blessings of the system.

The comparison of Islamic Ideology with a tree has another noteworthy aspect. To ensure its growth, a seed should be healthy and capable of taking root, growing, blossoming and bearing fruit. Then, it is necessary that it should be taken care of in matters like preparation of soil, manuring, watering, supplying heat and light, protecting it against seasonal changes and ravages of insects and animals. The Holy Quran points to this aspect in its own inimitable way. It says that the healthy concept of life Ideology or kaIema-e-tayyiba revealed by God has the capacity to rise high towards Him, that is, it can attain the heights which He has destined for it. But it cannot rise high by itself: it is man’s co-operation which helps it rise. In Quranic parlance, Ideology makes up what we call Faith (Eemaan) and the means to give the Ideology a practical shape are termed A ‘maal-e-Saaleha. It follows, therefore, the Kalema-e-tayyiba or Ideology forms the objective of the Islamic Order and A‘maale Saaleha constitute the programme for attaining the objective. In the present context you can say that Ideology provides the ‘Objectives Resolution’ of an Islamic State, its ‘Constitution’ gives political form to the Resolution and its laws prescribe the programme for helping the people attain their destiny.
