In the world around man and also for the functioning of his own body systems, physical or natural laws are operative and all their related activities are governed by the these laws. Similarly Allah Almighty has also given laws for social activities of man as code of conduct in life. The very object of giving these laws is to provide its creation / mankind a peaceful harmonious and prosperous life in this world and in the hereafter. To fulfill this objective the only divine code given is Islam, means absolute obedience to Allah Almighty and his laws which are in the Quran. Following these laws in full faith is Islam and the strong conviction which forms the base for such following is called Iman or belief. Iman depicts itself, Anything which your heart accepts in full and then practical display of your acceptance, the blend of Iman & Amal Salah is Islam. And the people who does like that are knows as Momin or Believer.
Are events physical as well as social or predictable? Is everything that happens in this world pre-determined? Did God, at the dawn of Creation, decide what was going to happen in the human social world? Has He a definitely irrevocable plan for each and every individual? Is our destiny pre decided? Can we change our destiny? Are we inescapably bound to our fate? Can we know what lies in store for us? How does prior knowledge of our destiny affect us? Questions such as these have nagged Man ever since he began conscious logical thinking. It is my intention in this paper to try to tackle these questions in the light of the Quran.
